Our kayaking trips and courses don't come with accomodation, however if you are looking for somewhere to stay, the area offers a range of places to suit different needs and budgets.

B&Bs

Bealach Country House

Bealach Country House is a small four star guest house, located in nearby Duror. King and twin rooms available.

Clachaig Inn

The Clachaig Inn offers modern comfortable accomodation in a great location. The Inn has 23 rooms, double, twin and family rooms available. The Clachaig Inn is home to three bars, serving great pub food and real ales.

Cuilcheanna House

Cuilcheanna House is a four star B&B located in nearby Onich. King, double, twin and single rooms available.

Fern Villa Guest House

Located in Ballachulish Fern Villa Guest House offers, double and twin rooms. The guest house has a drying room.

Mingulay House

Mingulay House is set in the nearby village of Duror, just a short walk from the beautiful Cuil Bay. The Guest house offers three double bedrooms, all ensuite.  

Strathassynt Guest House

Strathassynt Guest House is a family run three star B&B in Ballachulish. Double, twin and triple rooms available.

Strath Lodge Glencoe

Strath Lodge is set in a quiet and secluded location just a short walk from Glencoe village and offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation and a very warm welcome.

Tigh Bhan B&B

Tigh Ban B&B is a small B&B located by the beautiful Cuil Bay, Duror. Double and twin rooms available.

Tigh na Eilidh B&B

Tigh na Eilidh B&B is a small B&B located in the nearby village of duror. Family, double and twin rooms available.

Self Catering

Alltshellach Cottages

Alltshellach Cottages are situated in a peaceful hamlet close to the banks of Loch Leven and are just a 5 minute drive from Paddle Lochaber. The stone self-catering cottages both sleep 6 and date from the 19th century.

Bay View

Bay View Cottage in Kentallen has a fantastic view overlooking Kentallen Bay. Sleeping four people.

Birch Brae

Birch Brae lodges are set on the fringes of the ancient Glenrigh forest. Great location for exploring Glencoe and Fort William and only a few miles from Paddle Lochaber. Lodges can sleep upto six people. 

Glencoe Cottages & Signal Rock B&B

Set among the woodland near Signal Rock Glencoe Cottages and Signal Rock B&B offers three self catering cottages sleeping upto six and B&B accomodation with double and twin rooms.

Clachaig Holidays offer a variety of self catering chalets and cottages in great locations in Glencoe and Ballachulish.

Inchree Chalets and Rooms

Inchree Chalets and Rooms offer a variety of accomodation; self catering chalets, rooms, hostel accomodation, with a pub-restaurant on site.

Ecopod

A boutique retreat! With a modern open plan design Ecopods offer luxury self catering accomodation in a beautiful setting. Set in birch woodland with views over Castle Stalker and Loch Linnhe.  Each Ecopod sleeps two people. 

Kinlochlaich House

Kinlochlaich House offers a self catering cottage and three apartments. There is also a unique and beautiful tree house, set in among woodland. 

Lagnaha

Lagnaha has two self catering cottages sleeping upto five people. If you are looking for self catering with a difference they have two restored gypsy caravans. Lagnaha also has a B&B and camping site. 

Loch Leven Holiday Accomodation

Loch Leven Holiday Accomodation is located on the north side of Loch Leven. They offer a variety of self catering options including chalets, lodge and a luxury cottage. There is also a B&B.

Rowan Brae

Rowan Brae is based in North Ballachulish and offers two studio apartments, both sleeping two people.

Springwell Holiday Cottages

There are six cottages at Springwell holidays in Onich. The cottages can sleep from four to eight people. All with panoramic views over Loch Linnhe and the Glencoe/Argyllshire mountains.

Whin Knowe

Whin Knowe offers a spacious and comfortable 4 star cottage with one of the best views in Britain.

Crianlarich Hotel

 The Crianlarich Hotel,  is a three star Scottish Hotel; recently awared 'Good Value Hotel of the Year'. Crianlarich is approximately 35 miles south of Ballachulish.

Onich Hotel

The Onich Hotel is a family run hotel set on a fantastic lochside location near Glencoe and Fort William.

Camping and Caravan sites

Caolasnacon

Situated on the south side of Loch Leven Caolasnacon Caravan and Campsite has 18 static caravans and space for upto fify touring caravans. Tent pitches available

Castle Stalker View Cafe

Castle Stalker View Cafe and gift shop is set in stunning scenery, overlooking Castle Stalker, the Island of Lismore and on a clear day as far as the Island of Mull. 

Clachaig Inn

The Clachaig in Glencoe has three bars offering a great selection of pub food and real ales. The Boots Bar, offers a great atmosphere, open fires and regular live music, while the Bidean lounge caters for families. There is a children's play area on site.

The Grog and Gruel

The Grog and Gruel is in the town the Fort William; it is a traditional Alehouse and restaurant with a warm friendly atmosphere.

Loch Leven Seafood Cafe

Loch Leven Seafood Cafe and shop serve high quality scottish seafood. The cafe and shop overlook Loch Leven on the North shore of the loch.

Dragon's Tooth Golf Course

The Dragon's Tooth Golf Couse and bistro is set in a fantastic location, just near the Ballachulish Bridge.

Glencoe Photography

Relaxed friendly and professional, Glencoe Photography offer photography safaris and tuition in Glencoe.

Glencoe Mountain Resort

Glencoe Mountain Resort not only offers Skiing and Snowboarding. Mountain Biking, Archery, Climbing, Walking and Chairlift rides are just some of the other activities on offer throughout the year. The resort also has a cafe, offering great views onto the Glencoe hills. 

SeaXplore Fast Boat Trips

Seaxplorer in Ballachulish run fast boat trips on Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe. 

The National Trust for Scotland; Glencoe Visitor Centre

The Glencoe Visitor Centre has interactive displays on the culture, history and wildlife in Glencoe.There is a ranger service, cafe, shop and low level walks on site.

Glencoe Lochan

The Glencoe Lochan is managed by the forestry commission, and offers three different waymarked walks. 

Kinlochlaich Garden Plant Centre

The garden centre is set in a historic walled garden on the west coast. Friendly, family run business, selling a huge variety of plants. 

Ice Factor

If you are not sea kayaking, indoor rock and ice climbing at the Ice Factor is a great wet weather activity. 

Oban to Fort William Cycle Track

A great cycle path has been created by sustrans to join Oban and Fort William. Although there are still some gaps in the route, the cycle paths around Ballachulish and Glencoe, to Kentallen offer beautiful scenery, and opportunities to stop in local cafe's. 

West Highland Sailing

See the Great Glen from the water on one of West Highland Sailing's self-hire luxury cruisers or sailing yachts. No experience necessary to hire boats by the week or for a short break.
